ReadiTech, a DRN Company, announced it will begin the construction process to deploy its fiber-optic service bringing lightning-fast and reliable broadband to Casselton, N.D. in July 2020.
According to Kent Schimke, DRN ReadiTech CEO/general manager, the fiber upgrade offers Casselton residents with Internet speeds up to 1 GB and by this fall up to 10 GB, as well as, phone service. “I am excited and very happy for the opportunity to provide the most reliable, fast, and state-of-the-art fiber-optic broadband services to the community of Casselton. It is an honor to be adopted by the community and I believe the relationships being built between DRN ReadiTech and Casselton are strong and will continue for many years of prosperity and success!” said Schimke.
“We look forward to bringing the community of Casselton our service that is prepared to handle multiple online devices within a home or office and offers potential for growth as Internet speeds increase into the future,” continued Schimke.
“Expanding service to Casselton is a very good fit with our existing networks,” said Ralph Neu, DRN ReadiTech’s board president. “It gives us the opportunity to provide the Casselton area with a high level of service they deserve. In recent times across our country, we all have become more aware of the importance of an effective, fast and reliable fiber network,” continued Neu.
CEO/General Manager Schimke, President Neu, and DRN ReadiTech’s Board are proud to invest in rural North Dakota with fiber-optic service to support the North Dakotan economy. ReadiTech knows investing in the network builds a better future for North Dakotans to connect with family and friends, participate in distance learning, to see a medical practitioner through telemedicine, to work—whether from home or the office, and to operate business seamlessly.
